Terms & Conditions - Wedding Bookings
Thank you for choosing Kallos Beauty for your makeup services.
By engaging with Kallos Beauty for wedding services you are agreeing to the below terms. If you have any questions please contact us at - shalamar.walsh@gmail.com we are always happy to help.
1. Deposits:
50% of the total invoice is required to secure the booking. The deposit is nonrefundable if booking is cancelled by the client.
2. Payment:
The remaining 50% is due 30 days before the wedding date.
3. Cancellations:
If booking is cancelled within 60 days of service date 80% of the outstanding amount will be charged.
Cancellations due to client dissatisfaction with preview and consult appointment:
3.1 Once you have booked and paid your deposit, in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your preview and consultation, we will be happy to refund your 50% deposit (less the preview/consultation charges and associated travel fees) subject to the following conditions:
The preview and consultation appointment date is no closer than 8 weeks prior to the wedding date;
and
We are notified of your dissatisfaction within 24 hours of your preview and consultation appointment (we would prefer if possible to be notified AT the preview and consultation appointment of any issues, if possible, so we can work with you to resolve any issues while we are at the appointment).
3.2 Once you have booked and paid your deposit, in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your preview and consultation, we will also offer a second trial completely free of charge if you would like to take that option first.
4. Booking Changes:
Once booking is confirmed & contract signed, makeup numbers can be decreased by x1 with no additional charge. Additional decreases within 30 days of the service date will be charged at 50% of total cost. Exceptions to this rule will be at the discretion of Kallos Beauty only.
Requests to increase total numbers will all be accommodated where possible, but will be subject to availability.
5. Staff Changes:
In the rare event of your booked makeup artist is no longer being available (severe illness, resignation, maternity leave etc.) We will do our absolute best to inform you as soon as possible and ensure we do everything within our power to provide you with a makeup artist for your day.
6. Contraindications:
It is each individual's responsibility to disclose to your makeup artist any known products/ingredients you are allergic to. Kallos Beauty only uses the highest quality & genuine products. All products are turned over within their recommended shelf life period. All tools are sterilised between each client. Kallos Beauty is in no way legally liable for any allergic reactions to products used on those within this booking group.
7. Force Majeure:
Event of Force Majeure means an event beyond the control of us and you, which prevents us from completing our obligations under this contract, including but not limited to: an act of God (such as, but not limited to, fires, explosions, car accidents, earthquakes, drought, tidal waves and floods). Please note COVID-19 does not fall under Force Majeure.
8. COVID-19:
Cancellations and postponements due to direct result of Covid 19 Lockdown, or travel restrictions.
8.1 Once you have booked and paid your deposit, in the event that you are unable to have your wedding on the original date due to a direct result of Covid 19 infection, government enforced lockdown, or travel restrictions, we will allow one transfer of your date to another future date that we are available. This date change will incur no additional charges or penalties.
8.2 Once you have booked and paid your deposit, in the event that you are unable to have your wedding on the original date due to a direct result of Covid 19 infection, government enforced lockdown, or travel restrictions, but you do not yet have a suitable replacement wedding date, we will allow the ‘HOLD’ of your booking deposit for a maximum of 24 months to use towards your future date that we are available. This date ‘HOLD’ will incur no additional charges or penalties.
8.3 Once you have booked and paid your deposit, in the event that you wish to cancel your wedding due to a direct result of Covid 19 infection, government enforced lockdown, or travel restrictions, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. Anything you have paid towards the remaining full amount will be refunded in full, regardless of when the cancellation took place.

Makeup takes approximately 1 hour per person
These prices are valid until 31st Dec 2024, if you are enquiring about a date after this time please note prices will be subject to change.
