Key Ingredients:  

Ascorbyl Methylsilanol Pectinate: A form of Vitamin C.  It is created by mixing Ascorbic Acid (pure Vitamin C) and pectin. Ascorbyl Methylsilanol Pectinate has  strong antioxidant properties. Antioxidants help your skin fight free-radical molecules. Ascorbyl Methylsilanol Pectinate is considered very stable as keeps its potency for longer than some other forms of Vitamin C making it highly effective at slowing down signs of aging such as hyperpigmentation and wrinkle formation.  

Polyganonum Cuspidatum Root Extract: A plant whose root is a reliable source of the potent polyphenolic antioxidant trans-resveratrol, which is considered the most bioavailable form of resveratrol.  This plant not only helps fight free radicals before they can damage skin, but it also reduces signs of irritation.  Research has also shown this plant extract can inhibit the formation of advanced glycation end products, or AGEs, which are collagen-damaging proteins and fats that form in the skin. AGEs can contribute to wrinkles and loss of firmness. Trans-resveratrol has been shown to fade hyperpigmentation when used in amounts of 1% or more; lower levels of Polygonum cuspidatum root in skin care remain viable for antioxidant, soothing, and other benefits.  

Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract: A popular ingredient in traditional Chinese  medicine and skincare products. It holds flavonoids that can combat signs of  hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and pigmentation on the skin. It can also protect the  skin from UV-induced damage, soothes inflammation, and prevents oxidative stress on  your skin. 

Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid:  A naturally occurring Polysaccharide (Carbohydrate) in the human body, it not only deeply hydrates but also helps skin stretch and flex and reduces skin wrinkles and lines.  Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid is more stable, works for the longer term, is stored in the skin's connective tissue, and has anti-wrinkle effects that last.  

Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract: Inhibits the production of an enzyme  needed to produce melanin (pigment) in the skin and helps remove excess melanin.  The production of melanin (AKA pigment or colour) is a complicated process, but at the heart of the matter is an enzyme known as tyrosinase.  Licorice Extract inhibits the production of tyrosinase, in turn inhibiting the production of dark spots. Licorice  Extract brightens the skin in another way, too.  It contains liquiritin, an active  compound that helps to disperse and remove existing melanin in the skin. In other words, not only can it help prevent new spots from forming, but it can also fade existing ones. Like many other plant-based extracts, licorice holds a flavonoid, an antioxidant-rich component that protects against skin ageing and discolouration.

WHEN TO USE:

If you are new to adding a Sabore serum to your routine, it is best to introduce slowly so you don't overwhelm the skin.  Please consult with us to ensure you are getting the most appropriate one for your needs.
Start with once every 2-3 days, then if the skin is responding nicely increase to each morning.
You only need 2-3 drops applied after cleansing and toning.
You can use at night too or alternate with one of our other serums in the evening.
